Advocacy means we help amplify the parent, caregiver, or legal guardian's voice by working with them to understand what a specific educational plan will look like for their child, assist them with putting the plan in place with the school, and attend meetings with the parent, caregiver, or legal guardian when necessary.
Yes, we specialize in advocating for youth with behavior disorders or a child with a known or suspected disorder that seemingly affects their behavior during school.
We serve system involved youth as well. Meaning, any child in foster care or the juvenile justice system.
Any school aged child under the age of 18, or over the age of 18 that is still receiving IEP services by their respective state.
Absolutely! Our mission is to educate and be a resource for the community to assist them in advocating for children with behavioral and/or emotional needs as well.

Presentations will differ based on audience needs. Typical presentations may include the following: breaking down verbiage used by school districts that is not readily understandable to parents and caregivers, discussing what types of documentation to have during discussions with school personnel, IEP explanations, and ways schools can accommodate your child if they are dealing with a behavior or mental health related concern.
